Born in 1945 in Lübeck, lived and worked in Cologne since the 1950s. After finishing school, he completed his training as a typesetter/typographer and graphic designer. Did his community service at Cologne University Hospital in 1963. Worked on issues of color and form, concepts, ink and color drawings, monochromatic pictures, Letterism, sculptures, book projects. He died in Cologne in 1997 after being ill for many years.
