which gave me an overall feeling of taedium¹⁷. In turn, I also failed to reflect upon and answer one of your letters, which is inexcusable.” The following sentence indicates that he wanted to console Czischke with a small communicative gesture: “I have a question in a similar context [as an editor: author’s note], I would like to know if you have worked on other projects like Caliban,...". Unfortunately, he ended up exactly where Czischke never saw himself, in the collection/categorisation as a specialist in reproductions. He described an opportunity to work with Jugend & Volk publishing house and the publisher of this company’s “protocols”, Otto Breicha.¹⁸ This is where the correspondence comes to an end.
It is important to mention the 1975 window exhibition at Buchhandlung Walther König bookstore. Several photos and an invitation to the opening¹⁹ are included in the archive.
